CONJUGAL VISITS

The state policy regarding conjugal visits was straightforward. After twelve months of incarceration, married inmates with records of good behavior were allowed monthly visits from their wives. Jack was not in favor of having Judi visit, but as time passed he began to feel urges that he had not experienced since adolescence and young manhood. Married life had long since tempered these feelings. However, after almost a year of celibacy, these long-forgotten urges returned with a vengeance.
