Why Have The War?

While there is never any good reasoning behind the mass destruction associated with worldwide wars, there is a very good reason for the War escalating to include the Americas. That reason was metal. The pre-Incan gold mining probably provided the most gold and silver, while North American uranium and copper were extremely plentiful. We know that these were mined and used at this time so it is likely that the war was focused on the natural resources of the area. In Turkey, rich copper and gold mining would have been interesting and the gold mines in Africa would also have been reasons to take over those lands. The other reason for focusing on particular sectors was to eliminate or take over centers of trade. That was the case with Mohen-jo-Daro and the other destroyed cities in India and Pakistan.

North American Copper Evidence-Along the shores of Lake Superior, mining was the major industry. One of the mines reached into the mountains about 2 miles and down to depths of 60 feet. Added to that is the fact that over 5000 open pit copper mines have been found. Estimates of the amount of copper mined before the war are about 60 million pounds of the stuff. There is no way or evidence to suggest that the vast amounts of copper excavated was used by the people of the area. The reason that the huge quantities of copper are missing is that they were used a long time and traded with others around the world to make the rulers rich. We can assume that copper was a valuable export product to other parts of the world during this time. The people of this area, at least the rulers, would have been very wealthy and powerful. I know you are thinking that copper doesn’t show advancement, but copper is one of the best conductors of electricity. With ancient electricity, came the desire to find massive amounts of copper not iron. A small sampling of the thousands of copper goods sole to the old world is shown next. We find special weapons and articles also found in Phoenicia, Rome, Greece, and everywhere else.
