“KHALIF”

I walked into the C.E.O. of the Bank of America’s office with the lowest job position on the chain in the corporate world a janitor…But after a uneaten lunch, in exchange for the hunger that both of our bodies craved for one another, I walked out with a promotion I was now the new “Plummer”…Not a huge leap up from the custodial department but an ideal job for any man looking for what you would call “A job with great benefits.” And I was that man… Only I wasn’t a real Plummer. I was just her personal pipe fitter. The man that came through when she needed new pipe laid and I loved doing the work from her back yard. For a woman her age. A woman at that half of century mark, Candice’s back yard was beautiful. The view was emasculate. It was everything I dreamed of it being, as I imagined what was under those skirts and dresses on the daily basis, as I fantasized about the woman who was out of my league. I had grown a sweet tooth for the woman who’s license plate on her Audi A8 brandished her namesake: “Candy Gurl” and she had just given me a piece. Unsurprisingly to me, Ms. Johnson was as sweet as cotton candy… I was hooked, and on the verge of catching sugar diabetes.

Who would’ve ever thought, that the day I barged into her office unannounced, the day I was checking out her pretty little toes propped up on her desk, and the day I first listed off the sight of her thighs peeping at me from underneath her skirt, that I would actually get to explore the spot where they met one day… I knew there was a possibility, but what I didn’t know was if I was reading her right, and I damn sure didn’t want to run the risk of being wrong. The embarrassment I would have felt for taking out friendship the wrong way would have been inappropriate and very unprofessional. So I waited. I waited on her to make her move first, and today she did. The fuck up thing now was that I felt bed. Bad because I broke one of the main rules I set out to follow once I left Otisville Federal Penitentry. The rule of being a better man to my woman. A better finance, and eventually a better husband. But it was hard to follow the rules I had set for myself when my other half wasn’t playing her position. I mean, it had gotten so bad at home, that I dreaded clocking out from work. My job had become the only place I seemed to be able to get a piece of mind. Here, and in the office of my boss Ms. Candice Johnson which had become my sanitary. Because before what just happened in there moment ago, it was where I came to vent. My boss had become the ear I needed to dump all my bullshit and the voice I needed to hear for reason.
