“I tried to read it, but I couldn’t finish it.”

“You’re disappointed?”

Adri pulled him tighter into his arms.

“You had a good time at Jo’s?”

Adri looked genuinely surprised at Stefan’s interested inquiry. “Yeah, and I had a good laugh too. Someone had been to America and he had met someone who knew a doctor who was sure a man’s body actually betrays that he’s doing it with other men.”

“That’s not what that doctor was referring to. No, he was certain that if he shoved a stick down someone’s throat, a normal man would show a normal gag response and a homosexual wouldn’t.”

Stefan scratched his head before he started to grin. “I get it. You’re pulling my leg. Nice try, Adri, nice try.”

“You have no idea how serious I am, although I have to admit this one is kind of funny. We don’t have a gag reflex, the proportions of our shoulders-to-hips ratio is more like that of a woman and hell, even our arses refuse to behave in a normal, manly way!” Adri laughed.

Stefan couldn’t help joining him, only to suddenly fall silent again. “Why are we laughing?”

“Why shouldn’t we? People will make up the most blatant nonsense rather than admit that sex between two men is just that, sex between two men. You don’t need anything special for that.”

“It might be helpful if you’re actually attracted to men before you bed one.”

“Why else would we be here, naked and all? To upset the normal order, even if we hate what we’re doing?” Adri chuckled. “In my eyes you’re the most attractive man I’ve ever laid eyes on, even if I know there are many more handsome men walking this earth. I get happy just knowing you exist, and you get one chance to guess how my body reacts when I’m near you.”

“I don’t have to guess that.” Stefan groped between Adri’s legs.

“Trying to distract me from a serious conversation about a serious subject?”

“No, trying to see if you’re up for another round before your landlady gets home.” Stefan bowed his head over his lover’s erection and gave a playful lick over the full length.

“Going to test your gag reflex?” Adri teased.

Stefan looked up and smiled. “No, going to make love to you the best I can.”

Minutes later, he held a sated lover in his arms. He didn’t want to talk just yet, but he understood why Adri had asked him if he honestly enjoyed what he did, sucking on a dick and even swallowing.

“I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t enjoy it. I’m not married to you, so there’s no duty.”

“Is your life about duty?”

“Even if that duty makes you sick and miserable? Even if you have to pretend?”

“I’m not miserable. I’m a normal, married man with a family, and I’m convinced you can have exactly the same if only you’d give it a serious try.”
