Chapter 8

The next morning, David woke up to an empty bed. However, when he got downstairs, Luke was in the kitchen cooking.

“I’m surprised you’re doing that,” David said.

“I gave the housekeeper a day off. I figured you and I both needed it,” Luke replied.

David wasn’t going to complain. Luke created two fluffy omelets, bringing them over to the dining room table. As they sat and ate, David remembered last night, how he felt, and the sudden pain in his ass. He winced, and Luke chuckled.

“Did I go too rough last night? I’m sorry, I’ve been wanting to do that for a while,” he said.

“No you were amazing, it’s just…something I’m not used to,” David said.

“I figured. Well, I can help you get used to that, if that’s what you want,” Luke said with a smile. But of course, David knew underneath it all that he was worried about him leaving. David then smiled back.

“I would love that actually. I mean, truth is, I really enjoyed that. More than I would say with a woman. I really liked it. So…thanks,” he said.

“Of course. I just wanted to give you a great first time,” Luke replied.

David appreciated that, that’s for sure, but he felt like there was something under all of this. After they finished breakfast, Luke said he had a couple of work things and David spent that time finishing a couple of acting jobs he needed to get completed. This was how the next few days went, where they would spend time with one another, fuck like bunnies, and go to work.

For David, this just felt so nice, so normal, and he didn’t want to leave this. He knew that Luke wouldn’t kick him out or anything, but he did worry on occasion if he was being too annoying or anything, on which the other would say he needed to stop worrying so goddamn much. David smiled as he thought about his life, about the changes, and how nice this was.

About a month had passed since their first time, and David began to realize he was feeling things that he normally wasn’t used to feeling. Their little touches were driving him mad, and David wanted to tell him, but he feared the consequences. He went to see Esme that day, paying for a cup of coffee and an ear to listen to his problems.

“So you see, whenever I’m around Luke, I just feel so…happy. I mean, I haven’t really thought about my sexuality or anything, but I didn’t want to scare him off or anything. I don’t really feel gay or bisexual, but maybe I’m just attracted to him,” David explained.

“I mean, you can be attracted to the person and maybe the gender, but don’t want to fuck everything that moves. I’m into women, but there are some that I just don’t mess with,” Esme replied.

“You’re right. But…what are these feelings? I’ve been feeling it since before we had sex, but after it, it’s been growing even more so,” he explained.
