Says who? This is another sneaky rule derived from diet culture that stops us from listening to our bodies. But a workout should never make you feel like that… remember we’re doing this to feel good! The reality is that we may not always have a full spare hour to commit to exercise. It’s not about training for longer, it’s about training smarter and using the time you do have to move in a way you enjoy. There is no minimum time requirement, and as you learn to tune into your body through intuitive movement (more on this next), you will learn that some days it’s 10 minutes and other days it’s 45 minutes and on other occasions you want to go on a long run that takes 2 hours! All are effective and adequate for different reasons.
