Chapter Fourteen

Ailyea snuggled against Master Torc’s side. They’d spent the night outside the shuttle in the campsite in the nice warm weather. She’d tucked the Lucent away onboard. She didn’t want anything to happen to her pet, nor did she want to lose it while she slept.

She rubbed her body against his.

“Whoa, lady. None of that,” he growled.

She reached her hand across his stomach. He caught it. “None of that either. I told you, no fucking.”

“Uh-huh. Yes, you did, Master Torc.” She tried to snuggle in closer again. Naked, she swished her breast along his arm.

He jumped out of the sleeping roll. “I’m going to go walk around until you get settled.”

She sighed in frustration. He wasn’t getting away from her that easily.

She waited a long time for him to come back, but drifted off to sleep alone.

The next morning when Ailyea woke, Master Torc held her tightly in his arms. She snuggled in, pretending to still be asleep. When he felt her movement though, he got up quickly, pretending he hadn’t slept with her at all. She let him. His hiding it made her know he wasn’t so uninvolved with her as he wanted to be.
