Chapter Three

“In Remembrance of Killer Sam”

It had been almost ten year's since Killer Sam had was murdered on behalf of Captain Newman, who had now retired from the Oakland police department. Newman had finally decided on retiring from the OPD seeming that they were in the process of going under a federal investigation.

Tasha was one of the first people to be contacted and questioned by the feds, seeming that she had still been going to visit Doc for the past ten years. Tasha was still in the same trance for Doc from when she had first initially met him.

Tasha had sworn up and down to herself that she had a man that was something too good to be true, despite the fact that Doc had continued to lie to her in regards to his release date boldly. Tasha had loved the fact that Doc was all hers whenever she had gone to visit him.

Doc was now so deep inside of Tasha's head until he had made her believe that everyone else was against them.

One weekend after Tasha and her friends had all made it back home from visiting; two federal agents had stopped by her house without her knowing about it.

“Ms. Tasha?” One of the agents had greeted her by the first name as she opened up her front door to see who it was knocking on the other side of her gate. Tasha's heart had begun to stop once she had noticed the two agents standing on the opposite side of her gate, seeming that she had been doing so many different crocked things for Doc and the correctional officers throughout the prison system.

The two agents had held Tasha up at the front door of her apartment, for more than twenty minutes, continually asking her random questions in regards to how she had met up with Doc while he was in prison serving out a life sentence.

The two agents had continued repeating the same questions to Tasha over and over again, in regards to how she met Doc, never once asking her for a chance to step inside of her apartment. The agents had wanted to know who introduced her to him and had she known anything about his prison conviction.

Tasha hadn't known what to say back to the federal agents in regards to Doc's conviction. Tasha was so scared and nervous for herself until she had assumed that she was about to be hauled off to prison herself.

Tasha was scared half to death that morning when the federal agents had come by her house to visit. Tasha was so scared for herself, that once the agents had left, she had cut off all communication with Doc, including her prison visits. For the first time in ten years, Doc hadn't heard from Tasha nor had he received any more visits. When Doc had sent the inmates girlfriends out to Tasha's house to see what was going on with her, and why she hadn't been out to visit, Doc had
