“Bring the salads, Bear.” Steaks were done, potatoes were done. Bowie was into his second beer, the Eagles were on the radio, and the breeze made everything feel so good.
He was having the best motherfucking day. Walking. Shrimp. Ice cream. Swimming. Bear.
“On it.” Gabe came out of the house with a bowl in each hand and set them on the table. “I’m hungry like you have no idea. Those steaks look so good. You know what Sammy said to me? Eat everything.”
“Good advice.” He served up the potatoes on each plate and turned off the grill. “Soup’s on.”
Gabe took the plates from him, set them down, and pulled out his chair. “Sit, grill master.”
Oh, well, wasn’t that something. “Thank you, sir.”
“You’re welcome.” Gabe took a seat too. “How’s the leg holding up? You did great in the sand, I thought.”
“I’m doing okay. We’ll see how it goes tomorrow, right? I feel…I’m feeling fucking amazing.”
“You’re looking it too.” Gabe winked at him and cut into the steak. “Amazing.”
They ate like they were starving, and he had to admit, he had done good. The best food, the best beer, the best music, and the best company. He was buzzed—not from the booze, from the whole day.
“Oh, man. That was so good, babe.” Gabe leaned back with a satisfied sigh, looking about as far away from a stressful day at work as a person could get, and glowing slightly where the sun had touched his cheekbones. “Man, if vacation is this good on day two, by day five we’re going to be high as kites.”
“Works for me, man. Let’s shoot for high.” He could manage that.
“I can do that.” Gabe put a hand on his thigh, palm searing into his skin, and his legs parted like he had a button. Gabe growled low. “Mine.”
That gave him the best types of shivers, but he let himself play, just because he could. His bear stood up and straddled his legs but didn’t sit, just bent over and kissed him, bracing hands on the back of his chair. The kiss was intense and low gear, like Gabe was ready to make it last until day five. He reached up, hands finding Gabe’s hips and holding on.
“Jet Skis tomorrow?” Gabe asked lips smiling against his.
“I’m on it.” Lord have mercy. He’d have to take muscle relaxants starting first thing in the morning.
“Assuming we don’t stay in bed all day.” Bear’s hand fell to his belly and rubbed in circles.
“Mmm…we could. We are a day behind on orgasms.”
Gabe laughed. “You’re keeping track. I love it.” He got another kiss and that hand slipped under the waistband of his swim trunks and palmed the head of his cock.
Bowie’s eyes went wide. They were outside. Outside and Gabe was touching him and he was getting hard.
The touches kept coming, long strokes and gentle tugs, fingers playing with his sac, and Gabe kept kissing. A thick tongue pushed past his lips, forcing his mouth open and gliding along his own. Jesus, he’d never felt so…wanted, and he wasn’t a virgin.
