As the other woman made no response, Chanda didn’t say anything more, sitting down on the chair next to her. All spoke at the same time—both sets of parents, the twins and Sapna’s brothers. It was a relief for Ram and Sapna when their attention was diverted from the newlyweds.

Ram finished his breakfast in a hurry and got up. “We have a flight to catch in the afternoon. I’m yet to pack my bags. Sapna?” he turned in her direction, his eyes not meeting hers.
