“ANOTHER SEIZURE?” SAID the Doctor, still in scrubs.

“No,” Toby said.

“We’re not sure,” said Madame Strunk.

“His memory loss seems worse,” Doc said. “He’s now saying he broke up with Sarah.”

“I did.”

Toby looked around the room. Fratus, Teacher, and Madame Strunk all shook their heads.

“We broke up. End of story.”

“Can seizures create false memories?” Madame said.

“It’s rare,” said the Doctor.

“I didn’t break up with her?”

“No,” said Madame.

“I’m having more seizures?”

“Maybe,” said the Doctor.

“Does he go home?” Raymond said.

“No,” Toby said.

“But you might need medicine.”

“There is another problem. I haven’t been back on Earth in three years.”

“Tobias!” Madame said. “Your mother will tan yer hide.”

That part he remembered just fine. “And in that timeline, I saw my neurologist a few weeks ago.”

“I could take you to my neurologist,” said the Doctor. Then, seeing Toby’s confusion, she added, “He’s my dad.”
