Simon ignored it and turned his eyes back to the screen, where Dwight was presenting a 3-D mockup of Theo’s mounted skeleton.

“The idea is to capture an authentic moment in time. We know fish factored heavily into Ceratosaurus’s diet, so we thought maybe a fishing scene with Theo bent forward over a stream.”

“Hm,” Simon said.

Dwight paused. “Simon, did you say something?”

“Sorry. I’m just not sure about the pose. Theo was a powerful hunter, athletic. Scary, even. Or so I’d imagine.” Simon tittered at his private joke. “Er, this is just a little—I’m not sure.”

“You’d like to see something grander. More awe-inspiring maybe.”

“Sort of—”

The phone buzzed again.
