Part Four – Doing the Deed

Liam led me down the street once we had our coats. Holding the door open, I grasped his once sure hand. He was clammy and shaking a bit. I looked up at him and saw that he appeared to be rather nervous.

“Are you alright?” I asked.

“Yeah. Couldn’t be better.” He gave me a quick smile and headed for the driver’s side.

A burst of cold air came through as he got in. I grasped his hand and turned his head toward me.

“Liam, are you sure you want to do this?” I asked staring into his eyes.

“Am I ready? I’ve been waiting for this forever!” A smile spread across his face.

I let go of his hand and let out another laugh. His face got serious for a moment as he tangled his fingers in my hair and pulled my face to his. Our lips were mere inches from one another. I could feel his hot breath on my face.

“I’m going to kiss you, Addison.”

I nodded and swallowed hard. My mouth had gone dry and my lips trembled. He closed the gap between us, pressing his soft lips against mine. He worked my mouth like an expert. He parted my lips slightly, I could taste him already. Slowly his tongue worked its way between my lips, caressing my own tongue with his. His mouth was warm and wanting. His hands moved from my hair, down my bare back and finally into the back of my dress. His hands felt cold against my exposed skin, especially on my ass. Liam's hands ran over my body the more we kissed. He moved them to my stomach and up to my breasts. My nipples grew hard and tender under his touch. He pulled away too soon though. I looked at him wide-eyed.

“What’s wrong?” I asked.

“Nothing. I just didn’t think you’d want to do it in the car on the street.”

I looked around as people walked past, peering into the fogged up car. “Oh, I guess not.”

"Did you have anywhere, in particular, you wanted to go?" he questioned, putting his keys in the ignition.

“Um, no. I mean if you have anywhere you’d prefer to go?”

“We could go back to my place if you’re okay with that.”

“Oh, where’s that at?” I buckled the seat belt and sat back.

“Not far. It’s just right in Oakland.”

“That’s fine.” My face felt hot. Hell, my entire body felt hot.

“Are you sure? We don’t have to do this, Addison.”

“I’m sure.”

“You don’t seem so sure.” He grasped my hand this time. His was still clammy, but more reassuring than mine.

“I’m just nervous. I’ve done something like this before.”

“I haven’t either.”

“You haven’t?” I asked.

"No. Hell, I haven't been with a woman for so long I hope I don't disappoint you." He sighed heavily. "Are we crazy for doing this?"

“Maybe, but I want to.”

He nodded his head and put the car in drive. "Alright, let's get back to my place then."

The ride to his apartment seemed to go by so fast. Granted it was just a quick ten-minute ride down the road, but it didn't seem that long.
