I just returned from talking to Doctor Wilson. I am not sure what to make of what he told me. One spirit entered the Raines’ three-year-old son and slashed the throat of his mother, and then attempted to do the same to the father, who suffered just a superficial wound to his shoulder. The child was left unharmed. Not sure why hearing this surprised me so much. The story Cristobol told me about his own wife was similar. I still can’t believe a young child having the strength to carry out such an attack. I have heard other similar tellings. The demon, or spirit, gave each child a strength that was beyond that of a normal man. Children and the young are often the target for such possessions. Cristobol said there were two reasons for this. The young are more likely to invite the spirit in, and their innocent nature made them the last anyone would ever be weary of. I can understand both now. A three-year-old wouldn’t know what it was doing if a spirit approached it, nor would anyone expect anything about the child. This one has bothered me a great bit. It is personal, as Ainslee is with child now. I will protect my family and not let this happen to my children, and keep this concern from Ainslee. She has far too much to be concerned with now.
