MATT knew he had a stupid grin plastered across his face the rest of the day, but he couldn’t help it. He could not get over the fact that Darian made him feel so refreshed. As they wandered through the museum, Matt found out all kinds of things about Darian that Jamie never wrote about. Not only was Darian adorable, sexy, and thoroughly lickable, he was also intelligent, witty, and politically savvy. Jamie hated politics. No wonder he never wrote about it! Darian mentioned his view on government healthcare, and Matt practically jumped out of his skin to add his opinion. He did it a little too loudly, and they both got shushed. Apparently loud debates were frowned upon. Matt made a mental note to explore the topic at a later date.

Silence dominated their remaining time together.

Which was fine. Matt amused himself by casually observing the people in the museum as he pretended to study paintings by artists long since passed. Mostly, the day was about Darian: an artist in his element. Matt needed nothing more.
