For variance, just switch out the type of berries used. Strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries work well, too. You could even throw in a handful of mixed berries to create a more complex flavor. The protein and fat contained within this smoothie will allow you to feel full for much longer than a typical fruit smoothie would. If you choose to use frozen berries, there is no need to thaw them, as they will provide a bit of iciness/thickness to the smoothie that will make you feel like you are having a milkshake for breakfast.
