“No, sir. She was late arriving this morning. I just escorted her there.”

Late? That wasn’t like Bella Grainger. She was always in within a few minutes of nine and she always stayed well past everyone else in the office. Including Gina.

“Tell Personnel to send her up here when they’re done.”

“Yes, sir.”
