We don’t have a Wall now for people to spend time on. There’s no point to it now that there aren’t any hostages. People are milling around here now not knowing what to do with themselves. No one’s thinking of leaving but as it gets more uncomfortable – & apparently June is the rainy month around here – & it drags out – how are we going to keep people motivated?

There’s talk that the cops won’t be able to hold Wendy & the boys ’cause there was no threat involved – no weapons – & the Morrisons were free to go at any time. If the Morrisons felt threatened by the wall of people outside their door that wasn’t Wendy & the boys’ fault. Technically there were no hostages, we’re told, so our heavenly trio could be out on bail in no time. Which could really stir up both sides. Then Saint Wendy & her Apostles could come back & lead us – even though I don’t believe in leaders. We’ll have to wait & see what comes out of all the meetings tonight now that Wendy & the boys are out. Much as I hate to admit it we do need some kind of executive body now. We have a goal & we have to coordinate. It’s not like we can just go on living in our peaceable camps forever. Now that Wendy & the boys are out something’s got to happen soon – in the next 24-48 hours – to bring us Tarstoppers together again or all the forces against us – & some in our own midst – are going to destroy us.
