Khaza stood on the sectional in our private section in G5 rapping along to the Kanye West lyrics while pouring champagne on two strippers who were on the floor beneath him displaying girl on girl action. Everybody was out tonight celebrating my baby brother’s birthday and I couldn’t be happier for him. I was proud of the young hustler Khaza had become and not once did he ever complain about starting from the bottom and working his way up, so tonight I just wanted him to enjoy himself and go out with a bang on his birthday.

Everything was on point tonight; the club was at capacity as the V.I.P. girls walked back and forth with bottles and sparklers in the air. The Dj was spinning all the latest hits and repeatedly shouting out Khaza and the many ballers who decided to show their face in the hottest club in Miami. Khali was enjoying herself just on the strength that I let her come out with us tonight and let her drink. I glanced over at Khaddo and Camille and something seemed off with them. They were usually all lovey dovey and getting lap dances but tonight they looked bored with each other. I made a mental note to check Khaddo about it later.

I was low key tonight, dressed in a pair of dark denim, distressed, Balmain jeans and a simple white Gucci collar shirt with the 5 stars on my chest and a pair of all red speed knit Balenciaga’s on my feet. The only pieces of jewelry I wore tonight was my iced out Audemars piguet watch and pinky ring. I was supposed to be enjoying the show in front of me, but I couldn’t keep my eyes from across the room. Brooklyn left out our section to use the restroom at least ten minutes ago. I stood up scanning my eyes around the club and spotted her posted up cheesing in some lame ass nigga face at the bar.

I grabbed my bottle of Ace of Spades out the ice bucket and gulped it down. “Yo Biggs,” I tapped him on his shoulder while he was busy receiving a lap dance from a big boned stripper, named Thickums. “Who’s ole boy Brooklyn all cozy with at the bar?”

Our eyes both turned in their direction to find Brooklyn giggling while he whispered in her ear. I didn’t want to show my true colors, but Brooklyn was steady testing me. The fact that I wanted to step over that velvet rope and strangle them both to death scared the hell out of me. I never gave two fucks about a woman and what they had going on since I lost Toi. The more Brooklyn was at the house, the more a nigga was falling for her and that warm fuzzy feeling my pops used to tell me about been creeping in my chest since the first day I laid eyes on her.
