When Yami made it home, she heard male voices, so she assumed that Train was there. He was the only one that Miego let come to their apartment because he was so cautious about everything, but then she heard one of them laugh and knew it wasn't Train. She quickly recognized that the voice belonged to Tron.

After locking up, she made a quick call to Simone to check on Ray while in the kitchen, and after she said goodnight to Ray and promised to get her in the morning, she placed her phone on the counter and headed toward the voices, which she assumed were coming from Miego’s studio.

“Man, you crazy as hell. Tajh is gonna a be a baller like me.”

“Not unless y'all stop feeding his little ass. He’s fat as fuck, Tron. Look at him.”

Yami stepped in the room and found Miego, his brother, and Tron’s son. Tajh was in the beginning stages of walking, so he had his hands on Tron’s legs, trying to hold himself up while bouncing in place. The sight of him instantly made Yami smile.

“What’s up, sis. You just get here?” Tron asked as Yami walked in and lifted Tajh from the floor. He smiled and grabbed a handful of her hair while Tron stood and hugged her.

“Yep, how long you been here?” she asked after freeing her hair from Tajh’s grip, only for him to grab it again.

“For a minute,” he replied, sitting back down. Yami’s focus was on Tajh, so she wasn't looking at either of the brothers.

“Damn, can I get some love too, or is it all for his little fat ass. And you better be careful, I know he's heavy as fuck.” Miego said, jealous that his nephew had all of Yami's attention.

“Stop calling him fat, Miego. He’s a baby.” She frowned at him, but only for a second before she was focused on Tajh again and smiling.

“Man, fuck that. Y'all can be in denial if you want. His little ass is chunkier than a muthafucker, but I’m saying, can I get a hello, a hug or something.”

Yami rolled her eyes but walked over and pecked him on the lips.

“Damn, his little ass stealing women already,” Miego said and then laughed.

“Hell yeah, he is. He gets that shit natural, nigga.” Tron gloated.

“Word? Do I need to hit Jai up and see how she feels about that?”

Tron waved his hand at his brother and laughed. “Ain't nobody worried about Jai, but don't call her ass, though.”

“Come on, Tajh, we don't need to hear all that. Let's go watch some TV,” Yami said and kissed his fat cheeks.

“Don’t have my baby watching that drama TV, Yami. I’m serious,” Tron said, as soon as she hit the door.

“Tajh, tell your daddy we got this,” Yami said as she walked out.

“That's a good look, bruh. When you gon’ start working on that?” Tron asked, causing Yami to stop in the hallway to wait for Miego’s answer. They were only a few months in, and nowhere near trying to have a baby, but his answer would let her know where his head was.
