Chapter 14
“W-what? Why?” Julia asked with a frown. “Oh God, did I mess up already?”
Alexandra held up a hand. The last thing she wanted was for Julia to start this off in the wrong headspace. She needed her to be calm and relaxed, not panicking over something that wasn’t even happening. “You can never mess up. For one, you are learning, and two, if you mess up, I didn’t teach you properly. I asked you to put the clothing on the chair, rather than throw them on the floor, but that is not why I asked you to stop.”
She gave Julia a reassuring smile before getting up from the bed. Placing a hand against Julia’s cheek, Alexandra searched her eyes.
“Do you trust me?” Alexandra asked. She smiled when the corners of Julia’s mouth curled upward.
“I do.”
Alexandra moved her mouth close to Julia’s right ear. “Close your eyes,” she whispered. She placed a soft kiss on the exposed skin of Julia’s neck and took a step back. Julia still looked completely in her element, and while she could see the small tremors of anticipation coming from her, Alexandra could feel the trust between them.
“Have you ever heard of sensory deprivation?” She slid behind Julia and kissed a shoulder blade. “It means taking away one or more of the senses, effectively making someone rely on their other senses, as they will be heightened. If I were to blindfold you, what sense would I be taking away?” She pressed against Julia’s back to pull her closer.
“Sight.”
“And if I were to tie your hands behind your back?” Alexandra’s words were immediately followed by the action, as she gently took both of Julia’s arms and pulled them behind her.
“Touch.”
“That’s right.” Her lips softly nipped on Julia’s bare shoulder, her tongue swirling over the skin before pulling on it with her mouth. Seeing Julia enjoying herself pleased her more than she ever thought it could. The small moans, the way Julia’s head tilted backward, and the goose bumps appearing on Julia’s skin all immensely pleased Alexandra. Stepping away from her, she reached out and opened a drawer from the wardrobe against the wall. She rummaged in it until she found what she was looking for. “I need you to hold on to something for me.”
