Chapter 14
Asher
I woke up the next morning to the sound of a thud. I sat up straight, looking around the room and rubbing my hands over my face. It was going to take me a few moments before I knew for sure where I was or what was going on. But then my gaze fell on Stella. She was standing by the window near the bed and she was completely naked.
My first thought was, what the fuck!
I should have averted my eyes. I should have looked away, but I couldn’t. Even though she seemed like my enemy when we first met, I had been picturing her naked since then. Now she was retreating to the corner of the room, fully nude, right there for me to feast my eyes on.
I straightened up in bed while her mouth fell open.
We had a little too much to drink the previous night. That was for sure.
Did she want me to look away? But she was staring right at me too. The covers had all bundled up around my waist now, and her gaze flitted over my torso. Was she thinking what I was thinking?
I could still feel the heat coming off her body. I could still taste her mouth in mine even though the fact of the matter was that I couldn’t recall what had happened exactly. There were only moments and glimpses of the previous night that flashed through my head.
I remembered her bra coming off, no first we tumbled in through the door, then her legs were around my waist. She was on her knees at some point too, and my cock was in her mouth, but it was too big for her.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
I fucked Joe’s sister-in-law last night when I should have been watching her and looking out for her. The last thing I should have been doing was getting drunk with her.
If Stella was speaking right now, I wasn’t listening. At one point, she tried to pull the covers off the bed, but I stopped her.
“Don’t worry, it’s not going to happen again,” I said when I caught the look of panic in her eyes. I wasn’t sure, but it seemed like she was about to burst into tears. Still, I couldn’t look away from her. I couldn’t believe I was inside her last night. Slowly, it was all coming back to me.
I was thinking about how good it felt to be inside her, and how warm and tight and perfect she was. Did I come inside her? Fuck. Why didn’t we use protection?
Stella looked worried as she stared back at me. Maybe she was thinking the same things, but the moment our eyes met, she hurried away from me. She was going to lock herself in the bathroom. Good idea! We didn’t need to see each other anymore right now.
Once she shut the bathroom door behind her, I sank back in the bed, releasing a deep sigh, staring up at the ceiling.
If Joe found out about this,
