Chapter Eight

The chair shattered into several pieces when Leeroy threw it at the wall. It wasn’t enough. He picked up what used to be one of the chair’s legs and swung it at one of his unsuspecting betas. The blow hit, and blood drops flitted through the air as the man went down.

The next beta Leeroy swung at with the wooden leg ducked out of the way, which only infuriated him more.

“You lost both of them! You fucking worthless, ungrateful idiots!”

The betas backed away from him as he swung at them. He attacked the men who tried to pull the first injured beta out of the way of his wrath. One man screamed when Leeroy stabbed the pointed edge of the chair’s leg into his arm.

He was panting and puffing by the end of it, and he still wasn’t feeling good.

Two escaped omegas, and one of them was supposed to carry Leeroy’s line.

He should have pushed Dylan down and fucked him when he’d had the chance. It wouldn’t have been so bad if he’d turned the man around and put him on his hands and knees. At least then he could have pretended Dylan was a woman. He was already skinny enough to be one, but no. He’d put it off because he didn’t like the idea of fucking another man, and now he was here.

The first time Dylan had tried to run, Leeroy had broken his knee. It had taken a long time to heal, and left the man with an unattractive limp, but that should have been the end of it.

Zayne was a shocker. He’d always been quiet. He always did as he was told and never stirred up much fuss. He was the last one Leeroy expected to help Dylan get away.

Two of them. Fucking two of them! It was bad enough when one omega tried to get away. It didn’t set a good example for the rest of the pack, but when two of them escaped, and at the same time…

He was going to have to watch the rest of his omegas, just in case they tried to leave. The betas would likely follow. They might even help the omegas get out. His pack would wither away if they thought he couldn’t keep them under control.

“You are all going to go to this pack, you’re going to find that alpha, and you’re going to fucking kill him and bring Dylan back to me. No,” Leeroy said quickly, a new idea coming to mind. “No, I’ll go with you, and you will all bring both that alpha and my omegas to me. I will behead that motherfucker and put hot iron pikes through his eyes in front of them. Then they will know not to fuck around with me! Do you all understand?”

The betas nodded. The smell of blood was in the air, and it was making Leeroy antsy. “Good, now get the fuck out of here. I’m going to go eat. Not one of you gets to join me until that alpha is in front of me.
