The weeks leading up to Thanksgiving were uneventful, and I almost believed things were calming down. I hadnât ventured farther than a few blocks surrounding the house, but it was progress, to a degree. Iâd met with Roger two times for private therapy sessions and had coffee with David at the house a handful of times too.
I was beginning to believe life was smoothing out. Anson hadnât shared about any problems at work, and each day I felt braver and more settled.
I should have known better.
It was the week of Thanksgiving when it all went to shit.
Anson was back on the morning shift, which meant an alarm startled us both awake early Monday morning. Anson groaned and pulled the pillow over his head after he shut it off, burrowing deeper into the covers. Knowing he wasnât a fan of these early shifts, I carefully unwrapped him from his cocoon and proceeded to kiss all his exposed skin, from the base of his neck, down his spine, and concentrating on the roundness of his ass, covered in a tight pair of navy blue briefs.
The previous night, Anson had sent me to the stars when heâd taken me in his mouth for the first time. There was no way to describe the feeling. Iâd shot off like a cannon in minutes, much to my embarrassment, and struggled to catch my breath for a good ten afterward. All night, Iâd considered returning the favor, wondering what it would be like to take him like that, bring him the same pleasure heâd shown me.
Anson groaned when I drew his underwear down over his two perfect globes and kissed the bare skin of his backside.
âI really donât have time for this,â he mumbled. âBut I really, really want it.â
âWe can pick this up later when youâre off work.â
âPleeeease.â He drew out the word as my tongue journeyed to places it hadnât before. âGive me the phone, Iâm calling in sick.â He made a weak effort to reach for it on the bedside table.
Chuckling, I fixed his underwear back in place, kissing up his spine to his nape and around to whisper in his ear. âGo shower. Iâll make you coffee and breakfast.â
He whimpered into his pillow, and although muffled, I caught the words tease and not fair as I climbed off the bed.
