We decided to head back to South Beach, since we had a few hours until the interview with Sue. As we walked out into the blazing Miami sun, Flo started fanning herself.

“Who would have thought doing interviews could be so exhausting?”

“I thought you’d be used to it, having interviewed all those world-famous actors. And bullfighters."

“Okay, so I embellished a bit.”

“Yeah, a bit.”

As we passed a newsstand I, of course, had to check out all the magazines. It seemed the Kardashians still had a lock on all the covers.

“Flo, don’t you think it’s about time tha... Oh no!” I clutched Flo's arm and pointed to a stack of Miami newspapers. “Look,” I managed to whisper.

“What? Oh my goodness!”

Flo extricated her arm from my grasp and plunked down money for a paper.

We stared at the headline in silence:

SHRINK’S KILLER NOW SUSPECT IN BRIDE’S MURDER

Beneath the headline was the same grainy photo of me running down the hall in the sun hat.

I collapsed onto the nearby bus bench, while Flo read aloud,
