She reports only what actually transpired in her presence. Now, if you take that same principle and apply it not only to what you see and hear, but to every other moment of your life, then you’ll go far. You do not anticipate, you do not guess. You react only to the events that actually occur.” He looked at me. “Does that make sense?”

He nodded.
