2. TURN THE CORNER WITH DETOXIFICATION
Sometimes people who stop eating a poisonous diet consisting of meat, dairy, fish, processed foods loaded with toxic preservatives, hydrogenated oils, and the rest of the bad shit, and start eating healthier, actually get sick at first. They assume that it is because of their new diet. They say stuff like, “I tried it and felt like shit.” What’s really going on is that the body is detoxifying itself. So, sure, you might feel run down, get some acne, maybe fevers and the runs, but it will pass, trust me. You’ve been poisoning yourself most of your life, and your body needs some time to clean house.
Here are a few things that might speed up the process: get colonics, drink an ounce or two of wheatgrass juice daily, try a short green-juice fast, and stick to raw foods for a little while. Also, remember to drink plenty of filtered water to flush the toxins out of your body. Let your blood, colon, and internal organs cleanse. Don’t panic and flip out. Usually within a couple of weeks you’ll start to feel better. Transition gradually. We never want to retreat in this war to take back our health.
