Wraith

When we got back to the bedroom, I wrapped us both up in the blankets and snuggled against her ass spooning her. The happy purr that emanated from her matched my own. Two halves of a whole, was what we were, and I still hadn’t told her that part yet. How did I add that on top of her already full plate I’d just heaped on her? It wasn’t fair to her, none of this was fair to her. She’d been human for Christ sake and in a matter of seconds I’d taken that from her for selfish reasons. When I told her, I was so sure she’d run, so instead of telling her the whole truth I was being a coward. All I wanted was one night to feel her body next to mine, to have one night of peace with her, and then I’d deliver the final blow to her. The one where I told her she was tethered to me for life, that nothing could break the bond we had, and that I’d taken away her choice in the matter. Damn, if I wasn’t the shittiest mate ever.

Sleeping next to Angel was nearly impossible, her plump round ass rubbing against me was pure agony. I watched the sunrise through the thin curtains, oranges and reds slashing across the sky, as Angel slept peacefully curled into my body. She was so beautiful it hurt to look at her when the early morning light cast a halo over her head making her look even more like an angel. How had I wound up with this angel of a woman, I was the demon of her nightmares, I was Wraith bringer of death. Yet, there she was snuggling against me like we’d been together for years, not hours.

By late morning Stonewall snuck out the front door, leaving us alone for the first time. Unmated me would have already rolled her under me and slid inside her, but unmated me wouldn’t have cared that Stonewall is in the next room either. Mated me wanted to savor everything when it came to her, not just rut on her like an animal for a quick fuck. I wanted to take my time with her, something about her told me she’d be a noisy little thing. My dick practically jumped at the thought of being inside her and bringing her pleasure.

“Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?” Her raspy sleep riddled voice asked against my chest.

“That is definitely a loaded gun that wants nothing more than for you to pull the trigger Angel.” I murmured against the top of her head before I kissed it. She stretched her arm above her head, giving me a delectable view of her ample cleavage before she grabbed the sheets to cover them. “Now that’s not fair, sugga, I’ve been snuggled up against them while she slept, don’t I get to see them now in the light of day.”
