Chapter 4

Lena squeezed her thighs together to quench the hungry throbbing. The alcohol had worn off long ago, but the big man kept her edgy. Her body hummed with anticipation. It'd been years since she'd made out in public. Kurt kissed her on the dance floor, at the table, and while walking to the exit. His hands stroked everywhere; her arms, thighs, and between her legs. She was on fire and could barely stand.

Despite his agreement to accept her dating other men, he stayed near her all night at the club, staking a claim. Instead of being upset, she was flattered. He was the medicine her bruised heart needed, solid reinforcement of her desirability as a woman. She hadn't realized how much of a hit her female ego had taken from her husband’s infidelity.

Light jazz played from the back of the car. Her fingers were threaded through his, every once in a while he'd squeeze. They pulled into his driveway and got out.

The moment the heavy door closed behind them, he pulled her into his arms and latched onto her mouth. Her senses spiraled as she let go, releasing her need to find fulfillment. Lifting her from the floor with passionate kisses, he took her breath and returned it to her. Shuddering in response, she held onto his shoulders, her haven in the midst of her tumultuous storm. Tender lips licked their way down her sensitive throat, sucking between her neck and shoulder. Her legs buckled. His arms tightened around her waist keeping her safe.

“Ooooo,” she moaned as he squeezed her ass and rubbed her pelvis against his hardness. She gasped at the hard length beneath his pants. Long and wide, tingles shot between her legs in anticipation of receiving such a treat. Her head landed against his hard chest as her body emerged from hibernation. Heat unfurled in her lower regions, moisture flowed and pooled against her thigh. Needs she hadn't allowed herself to feel in years demanded fulfillment. She hoped he was ready for her.

“Give yourself to me.” His voice ignited sparks of delicious shivers in her belly. Her thong was no match for her wet arousal.

“Yes,” she whispered before he took her lips again. Kurt bent, picked her up, and walked further into the house. Her head rested against his chest. The steadfast cadence of his heart beat in harmony with hers. Hands tight around her waist, he maneuvered them to another part of the house. She barely noticed the rooms they breezed through. Desperate need pulsed through her. It had been so long since she'd felt this incredible heat. She shivered in expectation of tasting him.

He shoved open a door. There was little time to appreciate the warm neutral tones in the masculine room. A massive four-poster bed dominated the room. Large palms caressed her shoulders, easing away her tension.

“Nice.” She slid down his front and moved toward the bed, kicking off one shoe and then the other. Decadent thick carpet caressed the soles of her feet.
