Chapter Seven

Liz had nowhere to run when she ran out of the bedroom after Cole had spanked her and humiliated her by bringing her to orgasm during the punishment. She sat in the living room until he came out of the bedroom, dressed, and then just stared at the fire in the fireplace, refusing to look at him, as he did something in the kitchen.

He said nothing to her and she continuously heard the sound of banging pots on the stove and water running. After an eternity of fighting it, Liz’s curiosity got the better of her and she turned to look at him as he walked out of the bedroom with a large pot in his hand.

“I have filled the bath tub with water for you, and it should be the right temperature for you to bathe,” he stated before turning to put the pot back in the kitchen.

Liz didn’t miss the look of sadness on his face before he turned away, and something ate at her gut, making her want to apologize for her behavior, even if she didn’t know why.

He was the one who’d been rejecting her all along, and now that he got a taste of how it felt to be bitten by a vampire, he wanted her. She hated being used because a vampire’s bite gave off some hormone that made the donor climax. Many of her boyfriends had just been around for that alone and could have cared less about her.

She looked down at her still tattered, torn, and bloody clothes, and decided that it would be nice just to wipe all this stench and grime off her. She got up and quickly entered the bedroom, slamming the door behind her.
