After these eight days you should really begin to notice differences in your body, your skin and your energy levels.

Make sure you note down all of these changes and achievements in your Honesty Diary. Now is also a great time to look back at the questionnaire you answered at the start of this book (see here). Have any of your answers changed? I bet some have, particularly about the way you eat. Jot down any updates or new answers.
This is all brilliant, but, whatever you do, don’t celebrate your weight loss with food or booze!
Buy yourself a nice treat instead – maybe some new workout gear, pretty flowers or an indulgent candle or bath essence. This is all about you taking care of yourself in the best way possible, without using chocolate or wine as a reward. Each time you buy yourself something lovely, remind yourself how well you’re doing and how much you’re worth it.
So what next? Well, if you feel able and ready to, you’re more than welcome to follow the plan again! You could wait a few days, or you can do it back to back. It depends how hard you found it and how you feel now. Otherwise, it’s time to start using my food rules (see here) and all my other healthy recipes that I’ve included in the book. You can follow the 8-Day Kick-Start again at any point in the future, whenever you’re in need of some fast progress or a bit of a boost.
This is it now! This is how things are going to be for the rest of your life. You are going to wake up feeling proud of yourself every single day. You’re never going back to the old you – and the new you deserves to be spoilt and feel incredible!
