Bad Vibes!

I’d visit Grandma and Gramps once a month. I would take cake and we’d sit on the porch and Grandma would preach about the wonders of life, of nature, how we are all connected as one single life pulse. How I must focus more on the detail in order to feel that pulse for myself.

I asked for more tea, Grandma always said no, ‘Did you break any walls down yet?’

I told her that I saw shadow animals in my room at night. ‘A cat and a dog, mostly.’

‘That’s good, a sign the door is open for you. But you must open your eyes, Ruby. Live life to the full, create that magic!’

Didn’t see the movie. I’d jerked Aaron off within ten minutes of settling into the back row. Didn’t have burgers either. Told Aaron I had homemade cakes and a bed in my apartment.
