Twenty-Nine
“Come,” Apollyon said, holding out his hand. I took it and let him help me off the table, but when I saw that he was leading me toward that massive bench, I put on the brakes.
“What is that thing?”
“It serves many purposes,” he answered.
“And tonight?”
He smirked. “Primarily, an exam table.”
“If you wanted to play doctor, all you had to do was ask.”
“I need to ascertain that you’re in condition to do this in the first place.”
I snorted, covering my mouth a little too late.
“What?”
“Assertain.”
“What are you, a frat boy?”
“Aw, you think I went to college.” I tapped his nose. “That’s cute.”
“Just get up on the bench.”
“Fine,” I muttered, doing my best to climb up without making a fool of myself. “Bossy much?”
When he pulled out two stirrup attachments from the edge of the bench, I gulped. “So the full workup, huh?”
“Would you prefer I had someone else do this?”
“No,” I muttered. “I’d rather limit the number of people who’ve had close encounters with my asshole, thank you very much.”
“Feet up.”
“You know, this isn’t very romantic. Kinky, but not romantic,” I remarked as I followed his instructions.
“Last night was about romance. Tonight is about determining whether you’re suitable to bear my energy,” he said, draping a sheet over my lap.
I blinked. “The hell is that supposed to do?”
“It’s to make you more comfortable.”
“Seriously? I’m sitting spread eagle in front of you so you can size me up to be your hellspawn incubator and a towel over my dick is supposed to make me comfortable?”
“Would you prefer I remove it?”
“No,” I muttered, dropping my head back on the table. “Only because it’s soft. What is this, Egyptian cotton?”
“I’ll have to ask for you,” he said dryly, putting a hand on the outside of my thigh.
No, cock. Not now. Sit your ass down.
“Are you alright?” Apollyon asked, frowning.
“Fine,” I croaked. “Just get on with it, yeah?”
His hand ran up the inside of my thigh and I resisted the urge to shiver. It was entirely unfair that he could play me like an instrument without even trying.
“Just relax,” he said gently, cupping my balls in his palm. I tensed up because his claws were never far off, but his touch was tender enough that I had to stifle a moan in my throat.
“Good,” he murmured, in response to what, I didn’t know. Maybe the fact that my dick was at full mast, but at least he was professional enough not to comment on it.
Was professional the right word if he planned to fuck me after the exam? Gentlemanly didn’t seem to fit either.
“I’m just going to put a finger inside you now,” he warned, pulling something off the shelf above the rack.
I grimaced. “I really don’t need the play by play. Just do what you gotta do.”
“Suit yourself,” he said, pulling on a pair of stretchy black gloves and squirting something into his hand that I hoped was lubricant. When his fingers pressed between my cheeks and probed my entrance, the gel heated up everywhere that it touched and this time, I wasn’t successful at holding back a moan.
