his is nice,” Jason said, smiling, sinking down into the hot tub so only his head was above the steaming, bubbling water. I took the towel from around my waist and slid into the tub so quickly my embarrassment didnt have time to catch up with me. The sun was setting, but the heat hung in the Florida air, stirred only by a soft breeze churned by the rolling surf, just a little more than a stones throw from the house wed rented. But the sound of an opening sliding glass door made me freeze. Our neighbors stepped into the shared courtyard, both wearing swimsuits, with brightly colored beach towels draped around their necks.
