“That was amazing.” We’re in a cab outside Kane’s hotel. It’s three o’clock in the morning. I should be at home wrapped up in bed, but a part of me never wants this night to end. “When you got up on that podium. I never would have guessed you could dance like that.”

“Not bad for an old man.” He snuggles his face against my neck, kissing me tenderly.

“You’re not old.” I take his face in my hands and look him in the eyes. He’s so handsome, I feel like I’m in a dream. Like I’ll wake up any second and find out none of this was real. “You’re perfect.”

“If I am perfect,” he slides his hand up my thigh until it’s dangerously close to my cunt, “then you are an angel.”

“That’s great.” The cab driver turns around and taps his wrist. He doesn’t look happy. “But I have a family to get home to, and in case you two love birds haven’t noticed, it’s Christmas Day. So, how about you get your ridiculously handsome French ass out of my cab and take your Christmas angel with you? Some of us have lives to be getting on with.”

“I’m sorry.” I reach into my bag, but Kane stops me.

“Here.” He passes the driver a handful of notes and then opens the door. “Merry Christmas to you, too.”

The icy winter weather hits me like a slap in the face. As I get out and stand on the street, I suddenly realize exactly what it is I’m doing.

This man - this amazing, handsome man who’s treated me like a princess all night - is also my boss’s father.

We’ve been kissing and dry humping ever since we left the restaurant earlier. The sexual tension is at an all-time high. There’s nothing I want more than to go upstairs and fuck his brains out.

But, will that spell the end of my career?

Shouldn’t I get back in the cab and go home?

“Kane?”

“Yes?” He spins around with a smile on his face. He’s so dashing. Like something out of a fairy tale. I can’t believe how lucky I am to have met him.

He kisses me and the world stands still. I run my hand through his thick main of hair. He mutters something sexual and explicit in my ear. I don't know what he's saying, but I love it.

The taxi pulls away from the curb. I watch as it drives off down the road.

I didn’t really want to go home anyway.

“Nothing,” I say, “let’s go inside. It’s cold out here.”

He runs his thumb over my nipples. His eyes light up. “It certainly is,” he grins. “And I know how to warm you up.”

I follow him into the hotel and watch as all the staff treat him like a king. We haven’t even checked in yet, but it appears like none of that matters. Apparently, Kane has been staying at this hotel every time he visits for the best part of two decades. I’ve never experienced such amazing service. But, what else should I expect? Kane has that kind of effect on people.
