Leader

In almost every K-pop group, there is a designated leader. The leaders tend to be chosen by the company and are usually the oldest members in the group. Sometimes the title is given to the member with the most experience or the member who signed with the company first.

Lee Hi

Lee Hi was born on September 23, 1996. She was the runner-up on the first season of the singing competition show K-Pop Star in 2012. She signed with YG Entertainment after the show and on October of that year, she released the single “1, 2, 3, 4.” On March 28, 2013, Lee Hi released her debut album, First Love. On March 9, 2016, Lee Hi released her album, Seoulite, through Tablo’s label, HIGHGRND. She promoted the singles “Breathe” (written by SHINee’s Jonghyun) and “My Star.” Her song “Breathe” was a big success and it even won the Digital Bonsang at the Golden Disk Awards in 2017.
