Thai food was better than any other types of Asian food I had tried to date. All three of the menu items Mr. Woodson recommended were good in their own individual ways. The cellophane noodle salad packed a nice punch of flavors despite it being a salad, the fish cakes had a very nice crunch to them, and the tom yum soup was zesty and aromatic.

As great as the food was, what I couldn't get over the most was Mr. Woodson sitting there eating and sharing the food with me like he did.

We were only given one spoon to use with our bowl of tom yum soup. Yet instead of asking the waitress for a new spoon after I had already eaten my half of the soup, Mr. Woodson simply used the same spoon to eat.

The act of sharing a spoon was as intimate as sharing a toothbrush, and that was something only people in romantic relationships together would feel comfortable enough to do. And being the successful entrepreneur that he was, I just couldn't imagine Mr. Woodson being okay with sharing a spoon or toothbrush with just anyone. So why was he not at all hesitant about eating from a spoon that had already been inside my mouth?

Maybe I was entirely overthinking the issue, but I couldn't help but feel as if he too wondered what it would be like for the two of us to share an intimate kiss. Or maybe I was simply projecting my own thoughts and feelings onto him as I watched the spoon enter his mouth while wishing it was my tongue.

After our meal, Mr. Woodson drove us back to the company. I sat down at my desk again and drafted some documents for Mr. Woodson. Two hours of work quickly flew by, and then it was already time to leave for the day.

I grabbed my purse and headed towards the elevator. As soon as I stepped inside the lift, a familiar voice asked me to hold the elevator door. I did as was requested, and Mr. Woodson soon joined me inside the elevator.

Even after a whole day of working together, I still felt flutters inside my tummy as I stood next to my boss inside the small enclosed space. I could smell his cologne and intoxicating masculine scent again, and it was causing all sorts of naughty thoughts to race through my mind, like the one where he pressed me against the elevator wall and kissed me with total abandonment until the elevator doors opened again.

God! Why did I always end up going there when it came to my new boss? Get it together, Goldie! He's not going to kiss you.

The elevator ride was over before I knew it. Once the elevator door opened, he gestured for me to exit first. Then he quickly caught up with me again in the parking garage.
