Chapter 17

“There is no way in hell you’re coming in this room Cheve.”

“I didn’t think you would go for that. Make sure that he doesn’t bite you, Orenda. I believe things will return to normal once most of your blood has been replaced.”

He averted his eyes and said, “When you finish here make sure he goes out to feed. That should help.” With that he walked out and closed the door. For some strange reason I felt nervous. This wasn’t about making love. This was about sating someone’s uncontrollable urges.

I locked the door and turned, half afraid to see what Alex was doing. To my surprise he was sitting on the edge of the bed with his head in his hands. I went over and kneeled in front of him.

“Are you okay Alex?”

“No. I feel like an idiot. I should have known this would happen. I’ve had your blood before and I should have known that taking too much would push me to the limit. I lost my control and my sense and for that I apologize.”

“Alex, you can’t take all of the blame. I’m a Sensay and as such I should have sensed this was going to happen.”

Alex lifted his head and my heart skipped a beat when I saw the love and admiration shining in his eyes. “You are such an amazing woman, Wren. Yeah, you are a Sensay, but you’re also a woman who is strong and loving. That is the thing that I see first. Not the Sensay.”

I wrapped my arms around him. “Oh Alex, I don’t think that anyone has ever paid me such a nice compliment.”

“Um, Wren….”

As soon as I heard Alex say that I could feel the electricity begin to arc between us. I kept my arms around him and lifted my face for a kiss. Alex’s eyes were burning bright.

“Baby, I don’t know how rough this is going to get,”

“Don’t worry. I can take it. Just don’t bite me. Cheve was clear on that.”

Alex lowered his mouth to mine “I won’t bite you. I promise.”

With those words he let go of the little restraint he had on himself and when he did my body answered back with its own primitive call.

He kissed me hard and at the same time I felt my shirt being ripped off. His hands found my bare breasts and he rubbed them with the palms of his hands. He yanked me into a standing position and growled, “Open my pants….I can’t take much more.”

As I opened the snap on his pants his hands moved from my breasts to my jeans, and he ripped them open and yanked them down. He plunged two fingers into my slick opening and I cried out in bliss. The scent of our arousal drove us both over the edge. Alex let go of me and pulled off his pants as I did the same.

“Now!” was the only word Alex said as he pushed me down on the floor and entered me in one swift motion.
