Chapter Eighteen
UNDISCLOSED LOCATION
Butterfly stared at their wet trousers. Warm piss soaked into the grey fabric, and shame flared on cheeks wet with tears. This was the ultimate humiliation, and it happened sometimes when they thought of the past. In recent months, guilt had brought on incontinence, and it was lucky theyâd gone home when they had. Other people seeing this damp little accident would have resulted in a ribbing wicked enough to last a lifetime.
Butterfly couldnât shake the feeling that chickens were coming home to roost. It wouldnât go down too well with Butterflyâs family, maybe not with the person in question either, but it had to be better than living on pins and needles, didnât it?
If I make up a story so what I did isnât viewed as evil but as a loving act, I could just about get away with itâ¦
