CHAPTER 12

Enzo

The woman was too fucking stubborn for her own good. I gave up on my need to hear the words to have her taste back on my tongue. The musky sweetness of her arousal filled my nose and mouth, and my body responded in force. I groaned as my cock swelled impossibly hard.

This time, I was going to come inside of her.

I needed to get her upstairs. Right fucking now.

With one last lick of her swollen flesh, I rose to my feet, pulling her stretchy pants up as I went. Before she could start arguing with me again, I bent forward, lifting her off the floor and over my shoulder. I was careful about it, just in case her back still hurt. One hand on her sweet ass to hold her in place, I strode from the kitchen and headed toward the stairs that would take us upstairs to our room.

I felt her palms flat on my lower back as she braced herself for the ride, but other than that, she didn’t struggle. Her mouth, however, wasn’t so easily contained. “What the hell are you doing?”

“Taking you upstairs so I can fuck you without anyone walking in on us.”

“I don’t want to—”

I lifted my hand off her ass and brought it back down with a loud smack, effectively cutting off what she was about to say. Then I kneaded the soft flesh to ease the sting. We were at the top of the stairs now, and I hightailed it in the direction of our room.

Down below, Luca came from the hallway that led to the media room with his and Veda’s empty plates in his hands. He looked up when he noticed me through the open rails of the banister, saw Sera thrown over my shoulder, shook his head, and kept going into the kitchen.

In our room, I closed the door behind us and locked it, then set Sera on her feet. I grabbed her face and brought her mouth to mine. I didn’t want to hear any more of her bullshit. I fucked up. I fucked up hard. I knew that. But right now, I needed to be inside her, and no matter what she tried to tell me, she wanted it too. I could feel the way she responded to me. I could feel her lies. We could fight later. After I’d come inside of her so many times my balls were shriveled and purple and my cock was raw and neither one of us could walk.

I shrugged out of my jacket and left it lying on the floor where it landed. With one hand on the back of her neck so she couldn’t pull away, I used the other one to rip open my shirt. Buttons flew and scattered across the floor. These clothes cost me an easy two grand, but I didn’t give a fuck. I needed to feel her skin on mine.

My shirt joined my jacket, and I growled deep in my throat as Sera’s teeth sank into my lower lip, drawing blood.
