Beth

I never thought the day would come when I’d be in Adam’s bedroom, ready to sleep with him. He stepped out of his pants and my eyes began to roam. Talk about a perfect male specimen. It was unfair for someone who sat behind a desk to look that good. He was six feet of pure muscle that rippled with each movement he made. I never denied that he was a good-looking man, but it was the first time I was seeing the man beneath the clothes. I was so entranced by his chiseled beauty that I didn’t even realize he was removing what was left of my clothes.

The memory of how we’d started tearing each other’s clothes off from downstairs caused heat to spread through my face. It was like I lost all sense of self whenever Adam touched me. I behave so unlike my usual reserved self.

“I love how easily you blush. Are you having dirty thoughts about me? I don’t blame you.”

My bra fell to the floor and I rolled my eyes. The arrogance of the man.

“I’d love to slap that smirk off of your face.”

“We’re back to teasing and threatening each other already? I don’t mind it actually, it’s such a turn on.” He hooked his thumbs in my panties and slid it down my thighs, his gaze never leaving mine.

I hated to admit it, but it was a turn on. His cockiness grated on my nerves; yet, he was so seductive. I stepped out of my underwear, so ready for him that I forgot to feel nervous about standing in front of him naked. As full of himself as Adam was sometimes, the way he looked at me made me feel beautiful. I didn’t like the idea of him making another woman feel the way he made me feel. He was right. I was jealous, and I didn’t like it.

He stepped out of his boxers and I felt my eyes bulge. It was hard not to stand there like a deer caught in headlights, staring at his jutting erection. Of course, he had to be perfect in every way.

My breath rushed out when he grasped my hips and gently pushed me to the bed. I landed with a gasp―more from excitement than surprise. I waited with bated breath for his next move. He loomed over me, eyes sweeping my body. That heated look somehow made me feel as if my skin was on fire.

“Exquisit,” he murmured, “As expected.”

“I’ve never been described as exquisite before.”

“That’s because no has ever had the pleasure of looking.” His eyes met mine. “Right?”

“No one.”

I knew male satisfaction when I saw it. Adam was happy no other man had seen me in all my naked glory. I gazed up at him with a frown. His reactions were so confusing. My confusion and every other thought were driven away when his mouth covered mine, hot and demanding. I could kiss Adam forever. He was just so good at it. I wondered what else he could do with that gifted mouth and my heartbeat went into overdrive.
