After our impromptu but thoroughly erotic session with the clamps, I decided it was time to have a talk with Ella, about what she was comfortable with and where her boundaries were. Okay, so she’d enjoyed our previous session immensely, but I realized I had been pushing my luck with how far I’d taken things, and I figured there was no harm in talking about it now. We were both adults, after all.

Also, the dominant side of my personality wanted to take control of the situation, to make the first move as I knew Ella was a lot less experienced with this kind of thing than I was. I mean, I had never gone further than light BDSM, never into the dark world of anything too serious, but I knew a thing or two. Things that I thought, no knew, Ella would like.

We had made great progress with the house recently, mainly tackling the smaller rooms first to make headway, and also because the smaller living rooms followed a linear pattern, which made logical sense to follow. But we had reached a point where the rooms we had finished were adjacent to a large ballroom, and rather than skip through to the smaller rooms beyond, I’d decided we should tackle it now rather than later.

As I walked through the completed rooms on my way to find Ella in the ballroom, admiring the decorations and finishings, I thought to myself that ‘small’ was a relative term in this expansive house. Even the smaller rooms were spacious, bright and airy, some even grandiose. But they were tiny compared to the huge ballroom, expansive and high ceilinged, still elegant even in its outdated and run-down state.

I had decided not to change too much about the ballroom. There was a large, wooden dance floor which took up most of the floor space, with a surrounding carpeted area for a stage, tables and seating, extra lighting or features, and for serving staff to pass without disturbing guests enjoying themselves on the dance floor. Two huge, ornate chandeliers hung magnificently from the ceiling, still sparkling through a thin layer of dust with light reflected from the early afternoon sun, shining in through the massive glass and metal doors looking out onto the garden.

Ella had agreed with me, saying we should renovate the room whilst trying to keep as many of the original features as possible, whilst still modernizing the fixtures and lighting. We had briefly discussed the chandeliers the previous day, and Ella had had a brief inspection herself, before we finished for the evening.

I found the heavy wooden entrance doors open, and stepped inside the ballroom, and found my breath taken away again by the size and space. Ella was standing on a stepladder near to one of the chandeliers, one hand gripping a rung, the other placed thoughtfully on her chin, finger tapping gently against a full lip as she pouted.

She was deep in thought, concentration writ on her features as she stared upwards. I took a second to admire her beauty, smiling to myself at her serious expression.
