Chapter Twenty-Five

Luke chewed on the side of his thumb and shook his leg as he scanned through the recipes on the internet.

“Whatcha doing, bro?” Travis said as he walked past him into the kitchen.

“Looking for something to cook.”

“You going to wow us in the kitchen tonight?”

“Nope. Tonight you two are on your own. I’m cooking over at Wyatt’s place.”

When there was no response from Travis, Luke turned to find him grinning at him from his spot at the kitchen counter.

“What?”

“You got a date with our sexy doctor man.”

“Shut up.”

“It’s cute.”

“It is not cute, Travis. And it’s not a date. He was on call and awake all night. He’s fucking exhausted. I’m driving him home so he doesn’t drive into a tree, cooking for him so he doesn’t have to then I’ll sleep on the couch and drive him back to work in the morning.”

“Or you could snuggle with him to keep him warm,” Travis said with a snort.

“What, are you twelve?”

Travis laughed, “Inches? You bet. Come on, what are you thinking about fixing?”

“Chicken cordon Bleu?”

Travis shook his head, “No, not a good idea.”

“Why?”

“You said he’s exhausted, right? That takes too long. He might fall asleep while it’s cooking.”

“Shit. You’re right. What should I fix?”

“How about something fast like spaghetti or tacos.”

“Yeah. I suppose I could dress up a good organic jar sauce with some spices and fresh garlic and then add a good pasta, some bread and a salad.”

“Sounds perfect, Luke,” Travis said as his eyes scanned the house, “Where are Dylan and Tristan?”

“They had me drop them at Dylan’s shop. We did a counseling session and now they’re going to stay there and come over three days a week for sessions.”

“Are you licensed for that yet?”

Luke smirked, “Not quite. I go before the board on Thursday.”

“Thursday? How did you get in there so fast?”

“Wyatt did that for me.”

“What a great guy.”

“Shut up, dick,” Luke mumbled, trying to keep the smile from his face, “I’m going to go shower before I head to the store,” he said as he started walking down the hall.

“Hey Luke?”

He stopped and turned around, “Yeah?”

“I’m happy for you little brother, he’s a great guy. And if you need any advice on anything – how to open him up, how to take a dick, how to give head without gagging…”

“Fuck you, prick. I’ve given head before. I’m not that green. Don’t you have someone else you can go bug about this shit?”

“You’re right. TJ, babe, I’m horny, where are you?” Travis said as he walked off in search of his fiancé.
