I can’t take the smile off my face as I walk to class, feeling on top of the world.

Adze London asked me out on a date. And I said yes, of course. There was no other possible answer. He told me to keep our date a secret and to not even tell Moss and Bax. As if I would. Those guys are dead to me.

Uncle Callum’s unfortunate arrival disturbed our fun, but I got rid of him fairly quickly when I told him that I had nothing to report. He wants me to sneak into their tight circle as a spy, but so far I’ve failed at that job, because I’m angry at Moss and Bax and too soppy over Adze. And Coen…well, he’s currently being served punishment, so I forgive him.

I guess I feel hurt the most by Moss. But that’s in past and I have no interest in rekindling that flame.

With my bag over my shoulder, I head to my chemistry class, keeping my head low as usual, hoping no one would notice that I’m the girl in the sex vid.

“Hey Zoi?” an unfamiliar voice speaks to me as I stroll down the hall. All I see is a sweet faced girl with big eyes and stall when she smiles like she knows me.

“Hi,” I answer cautiously.

“So, my name’s Mimi,” she says, holding out her hand for me to shake. I peruse the faces of the students lining the halls expecting to see smirks and whispers behind hands, but everyone is too busy to notice us.

“Hi, I’m Zoi. But you already know that. How do you know that?”

“We share mutual’s.”

“Who?”

“Um, classmates. Anyway, there’s a frat party this Saturday at this address,” handing me a piece of pink paper. “It’ll be cool if you came along. It’s a good way to meet new people and…stuff.”

I wonder if Adze would come with me, but I can’t imagine that it’s his scene. “Sure. Thanks.”

“Um, seriously, you should come,” her tone becoming pushy.

I frown, suspicious of her motivations. “O-kay,” I say uneasily, just as Matt and Leith appear through the double doors and make a beeline towards me. So far those two lugs are the only sort-of friends I’ve made here at uni and weirdly, they’ve become my comforts.

“Sup,” Matt says, cocking his eyebrows at me.

“Hi. Do you know about the frat party this weekend?”

“Which one?”

I show him what’s written on the paper.

“Whoa!”he says dramatically. “That’s Lethal. I was about to ask you to come with me, but I’ll meet you there instead.”

“Who are these guys?”

“Jock Seniors and their frat house is called Lethal.”

“Oh. I don’t know why they want me there. How do they know about me?” I say.

He makes a face. “Girl, you’re living in La La land. Everyone knows about you and the Bracken Pack.”

I glance at the nearby faces, catching the odd look in my direction, but most students I’ve come across so far are too self-interested to care about my stupid tryst. So it seems. If I’m going to survive this term, I have to be invisible, just a ghost walking the halls of Belvoir.
