After having one of my most lousiest nights in history and trying my best to put it behind me, I drag myself out of bed feeling awful with all the angry cussing I threw at Ben last night. I verbally accosted the man, and I feel ashamed of it.

It wasn’t really his fault. He just ended up in my line of fire, but honestly, thank God this didn’t happen around Carter. He would never let it go, and I would end up bringing back that imaginary dildo stuck up his ass and hoping it would get lodged up there indefinitely.

The last time I thought of his made-up twelve-inch dildo was … gosh … have we been together for almost a year?

Time flies when you’re having fun.

Except I look at Ben and me through the dressing mirror and realize that as much as I love him and we’re getting to have this just us connection time, there is a touch of remorse hidden behind the fun we’re having together. If the circumstances were different, and I knew that Oscar and Carter were at home safe and sound while Ben and I took a date trip, I might feel less guilty about having fun with him.

Ben stirs, and I watch him slowly wake up. His torso is naked, and the rest of his body is hidden under the sheet. My eyes focus first on his tattooed pecks, and then my sight travels up to his chiseled jaw, full lips, defined cheeks, and long lashes. His golden locks are sticking up in odd places, giving him a sexy I’ve just been fucked look. He is so damn good-looking that it doesn’t seem possible that he could exist in real life.

His eyes flutter open, and he sees me standing at the edge of the bed staring at him through the mirror. Maybe when we first started dating, I’d be a little embarrassed to be caught staring at him, but not at this point in our relationship. He smiles at me, and I return one to him.

“Morning,” he says, giving himself a long stretch, and a deep growl emerges from within his chest.

He reaches out for me, and I go over and sit beside him, hoping he doesn’t bring up last night. He pushes himself up to sit against the headboard.

“What do you want to do today?” he asks, and I breathe out a silent sigh of relief.

“I don’t know. To be honest, I don’t know what we should be doing. Has Carter given us any further instructions?”

He shakes his head and then swipes his face with his hand. I noticed he’s got about two days of beard growth, and I wonder if he’s just stressed or trying out something new.

Carter started growing a stubble beard just before we started dating, he’s been on and off with it, but when he does decide to grow it, he keeps it short and tamed. It looks sexy, especially as it gives a rough vibe to his boyish side-part comb-over and dark-rimmed glasses.
