These sorts of people are best avoided. The irony being, when I started to lose weight and get healthy, everyone assumed I had become one of those people. They thought I had become a health bore. The fact is, all getting healthier did for me was focus my resolve to eat and drink the best of everything. My eating went from being a quantity-based hobby to being an absolute all-consuming obsession. A health bore I was not, but a food bore? Absolutely. Still terrible company on a night out, but at least I was tedious about something delicious. I was baguettes before biceps and I put the ham in hamstrings. I loved this new era of my life. There was one thing, though, that I was determined not to become obsessed with.
