One week later.

This past week, I hadn’t been doing anything but working, so I wouldn’t have to be at my house with Jasmine. It’s like over the last week, I had seen too much of her, making me miss my single days. I hadn’t even touched her all this week. The way she acted when we were at Spence’s for breakfast had turned me completely off. I didn’t lie when I told Lawrynn that she bought the ring herself. Well, she bought it with my money, but she bought it herself. When Spence ended dinner early because of Lawrynn, she argued with me the whole way to my house. She told me that she was leaving and breaking up with me because she couldn’t take the disrespect. I didn’t care because I wanted to be alone anyway. The minute she left, I took a shower and got in the bed, but I couldn’t stop thinking about Lawrynn for some odd reason. So, I got up, put on some clothes, and went back to Spence’s house. I wasn’t expecting her to give in to my advances, but I was happy. I couldn’t even front. She felt good as hell enclosed around me. There was no way Alton was handling her the way she needed to be handled if I had to stretch her out like that.

When we finished, and I went to go get cleaned up, I came out of the bathroom, and she had gone upstairs to her room. I wanted to go give her another round, but I didn’t have another condom. I knew if I didn’t have a condom, I would have spilled my seeds inside of her, and that wouldn’t have been any good. I didn’t even go to her room because I would have been tempted to get back inside of her, so I left. When I pulled in my yard, Jasmine’s car was there. When I went into the house, Jasmine was in my bedroom with a two-piece, red, lace lingerie set on, and it surprised me. She told me that she just had a moment, and she didn’t really want to break up. There was a ring box on the nightstand, and she told me that it was our rings because she knew that we were going to get married one day. She said that she could feel it in her bones, and that shook me. I had been dealing with her for a while, and I had never mentioned marriage to her. I knew then that taking our relationship to the next level was a mistake.

I had been trying to call Lawrynn all this week, but she wouldn’t pick up for me. Today, I was going to try and call her office because she couldn’t get away from me. As soon as I picked up my office phone to call her, Spence walked into my office, without knocking.

“What’s up? I know it’s important since you didn’t knock on my door.”

“Your mother keeps asking me about this wedding, and it’s driving me insane.
