2 Add a yellow stripe on either side of the green and an orange stripe next to the yellow. Notice that because you are painting a figure eight shape, each new stroke of color is shorter than the one before.

3 Add a thin pink stripe next to the orange and a thin stripe of purple next to the pink. Then, use a sponge to stipple in purple cloud shapes above the left eye and beneath the right eye, completing the figure eight shape.

4 Using a no. 3 round and some white, suggest cloud details and add in stars on top of the rainbow. The stars should get smaller in the thinner areas of the rainbow and bigger toward the thicker sections. Make the center star extra sparkly for effect.
