“Sweetheart. We’re home.” Brandon assisted her from the limo, scooped her into his arms, and carried her straight through the lobby into the elevator.

“Mmm. I’m so tired.” She yawned as she rested her head against his chest.

“It’s two in the morning. Surprised you lasted this long,” Emily said as they rode upward.

“Night, sweetie.” Aiden pressed a kiss to her cheek once they reached the foyer. “Sleep well.”

“Night.” She allowed Brandon to carry her to her room, where he set her onto the bed.

“Let’s get these off.” He kneeled to remove her shoes, giving each foot a short massage before unzipping her dress and slipping one of his oversized t-shirts over her head.

“Bathroom. Then sleep,” she murmured as she padded across the room. She took a moment to clean the makeup from her face before she returned to the dimly lit bedroom.

Brandon lounged against the pillows, one arm tucked behind his head.

“You look comfy.” She slid under the covers. “Ahh, and you’re snuggly warm.” Vanna wiggled closer.

“You smell good.” He nuzzled against her neck, curling a hand around her back. The other hand crept under her t-shirt, working it upward to expose her belly. He stroked his fingers over her skin, causing goosebumps to rise along her arms before he flattened his palm. “You can’t even tell our baby is in there.”

Savannah rested a hand over his. “Soon we won’t be able to hide it. Are you ready for that?”

He slid down, pushing aside the covers and pressing kisses onto her exposed belly. “We don’t need to hide our baby. I’ll love him or her just like I love you.” He lingered over her navel for a moment before working his way up to her lips. “I’m in love with you, Savannah,” he whispered.

Her heart rate sped up at the sweet words she’d craved hearing from this man for so long.

“I needed to be sure. It’s been such a short time, yet,” he brushed his lips against hers, “I love you.”

Savannah blinked at him, hoping she wasn’t dreaming this entire fantastic moment. Suddenly, she was wide awake. “And I love you.”
