Vengeance

Bronwen bursts into the room she had been sharing with Gerrik. The goblin is not there, but the fertility gown from the scaleskins and her sword are still on the bed where she left them. She picks them up, stuffing the gown into a pillowcase and slinging it over her shoulder. Glass breaks somewhere on the lower floor of the castle. Slave girls begin to scream.

“We have to leave,” says Elyana, her fingers splayed in casting posture.

“I must find my Blood Keeper,” says Bronwen. “I cannot leave without him.”

The sounds of battle and shouts of fear and anger are coming from every direction. The hobgoblin fort is clearly overrun and Bronwen is willing to wager the suddenness of the attack is the devious deep elves. Orcs are also clearly among those invading the fort. She can see the brutes pillaging the fort through the castle’s windows in a horrifying inverse of when the hobgoblins burst into the scaleskin village. Bronwen moves quietly through the castle, her sword drawn and Elyana close behind her.

Bronwen hears grunts and whimpering cries from the room up ahead and motions for Elyana to stop. She creeps to the nearby doorway, the door open a few inches as she presses her body against the cool stone of the wall.

“Human bitch tight,” grunts the unmistakable voice of an orc. “I loosen up. I loosen up and breed.”

“Nooo, please,” cries a pitiful human voice. “Ahhhhh! It hurts!”

Bronwen’s grip on her sword tightens with fury. Wherever these brutes go, rape follows. She bursts through the door, brandishing her sword, and faces the sight of one of the slave girls on her back, legs forced apart, and a hulking orc atop her with his cock in his hand. He looks up, mid-stroke, fury on his heavy brow and in his red eyes. Bronwen glares at him and the words of the gods float into the air above his head.

Flesh Biter – Level 4 Orc Slaver

“You!” Bronwen cries, remembering the slaver’s leering smile and the way he touched her at Nokings.

Rage rises through her blood and she bursts into the room, clearing the distance to the orc in the span of a second. He still has his cock in his hand and has only just pulled it out of the poor slave girl as Bronwen drives her sword through his back and out his shoulder. Blood spurts from the wound and the orc reels, backhanding her hard enough to make her see flashes of light.

3 HP DAMAGE

The notification flashes before her eyes. She holds onto her sword, pulling it from the grisly wound and squaring off against the orc as he rises to his feet.

“Bitch,” he says, looking at over at his wounded shoulder. “I break you in half then fuck you. Then finish with her.”

He reaches for a studded wooden club. Bronwen is faster, surging forward and slicing downward in a two-handed grip. Her blade slashes into his arm and cleaves his hand from his wrist. The orc bellows with rage, looking at the bloody stump of his wrist.
